Changes to my study programme

Hello everyone. On this special occasion I am going to talk to you about the changes I would like to propose in my career curriculum. Undoubtely, for any university student studying 5 years is a real martyrdom. Imagine the more we study musical performance at the University of Chile, who studied at least 9 years to obtain a bachelor's degree! It becomes irrational. That is why this point I would be the first one to change in the studies plan. The academic institutions should shorten the career to 6 or 7 years, at least! For this to be possible, a restructuring must be done in the curriculum which is divided into two different stages, a basic one and a higher one, so to shorten the number of years it would leave the fundamental branches such as harmony, Counterpoint and Analysis in the first years of the basic stage. Another important thing to do is relocate the spaces and classrooms to study quietly, in fact, the vast majority of students desire this.

Finally, I would like us to have branches of the audiovisual area, as with the issue of the covid19 I discovered the need to make art from digital platforms. Nowadays, Is very necessary. I wish this could happen soon! The next generations really appreciate this improvement, because, nowadays, all the digital technology is the future. Greetings.

Four-legged friend

Over the years, I have been able to see many pets passing through my home. My family is an animal lover like the vast majority of Chilean families. Personally, I love dogs, especially German Shepherds and Labradors.

As a child, the first pets we had were two Labradors. One was called Wich and the other Coca, who was his mother. Sadly, ill-intentioned people gave him meat with ground glass, so they died a tragic death.

After them I had a couple of German Shepherds who stole our hearts and with whom over the years they filled the house with puppies, so we left some of them and others we gave them to other families so that they could be in good company . In total I have had about eight dogs in my life and two kittens.

Currently, I only have one German Shepherd dog that comes from the same lineage as the others. Her name is Gaby and she is very naughty and affectionate. It fills me with joy every time I get home because the love that he gives me is incomparable. He jumps with happiness and throws himself into my arms to greet me. Every day before bed I go out to say goodbye to her and say good night haha.

I think it is important to have a pet as they teach us the simplicity of life and unconditional love.

As an anecdote it once happened to me that I went to play for an event, my dog was about five or six months old and had broken everything in the house. So I was telling my friend what had happened. I told him: The Bitch Gaby misbehaved! Suddenly a lady turns around and says to me: And what do you think you're coming to treat my daughter like that ?! Jajajaja it was an epic moment. It may not be a good idea to give the animals personal names.

Ecclesiastes: a book yoy should read in your life

The book that I consider that people should read at least once in their life is Ecclesiastes, this book is one of the 66 books included in the canon of the Bible. The writer of this book, according to jewish tradition, is king Solomon. I like this book because of all the books of the Bible, I consider it the one that is closest to people, and I am a fan of theology.

Ecclesiastes is abput a Preacher who describes his disappointment in trying to find peace without regard for God. The Preacher explains that the cares of life, such as wealth, wisdom, popularity, and pleasure, end in disappointment if ther become our reason to living. Finally, the writer reaches a conclusion: ¨Fear God and obey his commands, because that is the duty that we all have¨ (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

I would recommend this book, because most people criticize the Bible, without before having studied it in depth and with a willing heart, it is a book that can radically change your life.
